Soccer update...

Maria's team is normal!!!!! Today she played her second game.. And I am so very glad to report that the opposing team was NORMAL!!!!! Regular-sized first graders playing the regular first-grader way... Just reinforces my belief that the first team WAS a freak of nature!!!!! Today was against another school and it was so nice to see (what I could see, anyway.. more on that in a bit..) that it was a very well-matched game.. Much more fun for the girls and... they WON! 4-3, to be exact. Way to go girls. And we only lost a couple of you to the wind, need to put more meat on your bones and you wouldn't have blown away so easily! OK, I exaggerate but not by much! This morning was a frigid, blustery one with a windstorm never relenting.. Can we say BRRRRR.... It was SO cold. I spent the entire game in the car with the other two kids and TRIED to watch the game but to no avail. The field was just too far away to really see anything. Bummer. And why was I exiled to the car for the whole morning instead of home in my toasty house with the other two kids you may wonder??? Hmmm??? Well, let me tell you! Because Mike is off playing trucks with his friends all day today! Hence that leaves me to do all the running. Men. He is actually spending one last day (supposedly) working on the white truck replacing the cab's roof for the buyer. This is supposed to be it. No more weekends wasted, I mean spent on a piece of crap, I mean vintage white truck. We shall see! Alright, I am done venting.. He did make a pretty hefty profit off of it for his own project truck but this is it! We need to get some yardwork done around here! OK, NOW I am done venting... Love you babe. I'm done throwing you under the bus now.

So anyway, yes, Maria's team won, they had a great, yet very chilly, time playing and Maria seems to really enjoy it. Can I get a whoop whoop and a HOLLA for Maria's team! Way to go! Keep tuned in, I have more to share but it is going to have to wait until Mike brings back the camera.. Gotta take pics of his work, don't you know! Men.
