OK, I know that was pretty corny and lame, but hey, I did say I was out of blogging material!

Mike has asked me to blog about his work in the basement, and since I have no other new material to blog about, and it is only right to give the man his due credit, I have decided to oblige him. He has been putting in a lot of hard work and time trying to get a storage area built. We have decided we just cannot afford to remodel the whole basement at once. So instead we are doing it in teeny, weeny, small sections, over a long, long amount of time, starting with a storage area. for the past few months Mike has been busy floor sealing, wall drylocking, foam installing, stud building, wall insulating, drywalling, priming, shelf building, until finally, over this past weekend, we actually have what you can call a storage room!! One small corner of our basement is almost complete! Great job babe, it looks phenomenal. Now we just need to get all of our crap laying everywhere else in the basement organized and put away in your newly built designated spot so you can start working on the living area! At this rate I foresee possibly a finished basement in one year... What do you think?? Is it possible? When all is said and done I will even reward you with that 24" flat screen TV you have been wanting... That is the size you said, isn't it?? Just kidding! Love you lots, and don't worry, we will figure something out for your "man cave" cravings!
